Hippeastrum 'Giraffe'
An unusual hybrid Amaryllis, Giraffe produces 5" wide greenish to yellowish flowers that are veined and heavily splashed with orangey-red atop sturdy 20" stems. An easy and beautiful winter flowering container specimen or is generally spring flowering when planted out in the garden or landscape. Giraffe Amaryllis readily multiplies developing into a dense cluster of bulbs that can flower over a period of weeks once fully mature. Provide a well-drained, fertile, average moist soil in full to partly sunny site for optimum vigor and flowering. One approximately 1-1/2" diameter bulb per container. Item# 10542
