In appropriate LSU colors, Geaux Tigers! Deep purple, fragrant, conicle spikes of flowers up to 8" long are produced beginning in late spring and often lasting into fall and are held against a foil of contrasting gold to chartreuse foliage with the nectar rich flowers attracting a variety of pollinators including bees, butterflies, and the occasional hummingbird. Evil Ways Butterfly Bush is a deciduous, medium-sized shrub growing to about 4-5' high and 5-6' wide by the end of the season.
