Greensboro Red Camellia
Camellia japonica 'Greensboro Red'
Medium-sized, semi-double, red to pinkish-red flowers are centered by a large boss of nicely contrasting gold stamens and are produced late in the season, March-April. The pollen laden flowers attract bees and other pollinators. Greensboro Red Camellia is a large flowered Japonica type with a moderate rate of growth and densely branching, initially upright habit that rounds out with maturity. Provide Camellias with a fertile soil rich in organic matter, with average moisture, and an organic mulch. Images courtesy of Cam Too Camellia Nursery, all rights reserved. Item# 13226
