White Cestrum (7/22/2024)
I have several of these bushes (trees) and the pollinators really like them. The blooms, which come in cycles during the late spring, summer and early fall, are very fragrant. Hummingbirds, many butterflies and other pollinators are all over them when they are fully blooming. For some reason I have seen more Tiger Swallowtails on these bushes than any other plant.

All parts of the plants are poisonous to mammals, but mammals usually spit the leaves or berries out immediately, because they taste so bad. One difficulty I've had is with the berries. If they fall on concrete or hard surfaces and they are stepped on they will stain, and if they get on the bottom of your shoes they will then stain inside flooring.
