Most robust agastache in my climate so far (4/2/2023)
I love southwestern agastache but live in a quite different climate (north FL). I've attempted several varieties but mostly A. aurantiaca seed strains which are purportedly more humidity tolerant yet all died even in containers during rainy season. I read that the Kudos series has some A. rugosa (the Asian species) in their parentage which might make them more humidity tolerant. I grew this one alongside 'Peachie Keen' in containers with a very fast-draining mix and I got both to survive the hurricane but Kudos Yellow is by far much more vigorous. It has 7 new stems compared to the 1 new one of Peachie Keen. Same nice minty scent. I plan on ordering more colors from the Kudos series when I do my yearly Almost Eden order.
