This is one TOUGH plant. Once established, you can almost forget it. Mine was planted by someone who lived in my house before me. I didn't water it the first two years I lived here, and it didn't blink. It does make more of itself, but that's not a bad thing. If you have too much of it, it can easily be pulled. It's also a butterfly magnet. I actually transplanted some of it into a bed in my backyard where it's in partial shade. It's doing well there, and I'm hopeful it will bloom this fall.

Such an amazing plant!!! Beautiful, long blooming and a haven for butterflies and bees. Does well in poorly drained clay, full sun to medium shade. Planted it where nothing else would grow. Big healthy plants (as always) from Almost Eden! Love, love, love this plant!
