The large, glowing orange and red flowers appear in spring and early summer in dense wisteria like sprays. The Scarlet Wisteria develops into a medium to large shrub with mimosa like foliage. Remove the spent flowers and seedheads to help promote repeat flowering. The beautiful pea-like flowers attract a variety of bees. Provide a full to mostly sunny site for optimum flowering and vigor.
