Orange Sweet Olive, Orange Tea Olive, Osmanthus
Osmanthus fragrans aurantiacus
A rare Sweet Olive bearing large clusters of creamy orange, sweetly fragrant flower clusters in fall that can nearly hide the stems of the plants at their peak. The Orange Sweet Olive makes an easy and low maintenance addition to the garden and landscape that eventually develops into a fairly large evergreen shrub or small tree with an upright to rounded habit. These are naturally long-lived evergreens with few pest or disease problems and are adaptable to most well-drained garden soils and may be at their best in a full to mostly sunny location although they are fairly tolerant. The Orange Sweet Olive can be grown as a shrub, tree standard, espalier, or in containers where not hardy. Item# 10376
