Double Rangoon Creeper, Drunken Sailor, Chinese Honeysuckle
Quisqualis indica 'Flora-Plena'
Large clusters of white tubular buds open to many petalled fragrant white flowers that change through pink, red, and deep maroon. The Double Rangoon Creeper is a highly sought after vigorous twining climber that flowers profusely throughout the growing summer. Provide this tropical climber with a full to mostly sunny position in a fertile well-drained soil for optimum results. The Rangoon Creepers are considered to be root hardy into zone 8 if given proper winter protection. The flowers attract hummingbird moths early in the day and bees and other pollinators once the flower color deepens. Item# 9869
