Parsley Hawthorn

Clusters of white to pink flowers adorn the tree in early spring just as the fine fern-like textured foliage has fully emerged. Flowers are often followed by small but often long-lasting bright red crab-apple-like fruit. The Parsley Hawthorn produces a beautiful and durable small tree with beautiful peeling bark and smooth trunks. Drought tolerant once well-established and has a moderate to slow rate of growth.

This much sought after native tree will provide you with nice yellow fall color. Grow the Parsley Hawthorn as a small deciduous tree or even as bonsai. Tolerant of a wide variety of acidic soils from sandy-loam to clay. Provide full sun for the densest canopy.
