Double Pink Confederate Rose, Cotton Rose Mallow
This heirloom has long been a popular favorite among Southern gardeners! Clusters of 4-6" fully double, bright pink, peony-like flowers are born in late summer and into fall. The Double Pink Confederate Rose is a large deciduous shrub in mild climates or a vigorous perennial in the colder portions of its range. Tough, easy, and reliable! Item # 386.

The Confederate Rose has long been a popular pass-a-long plant not only due to its ease of propagation but also due to its reliable hardiness. It may sulk a tad during the driest of times but often you would never know that established plants need little tending and will thrive even in some of the poorer soils. The hardest winters are sure to freeze it nearly to the ground here in zone 8B but by summer it is back to its old self and fall will still bring a bounty of large beautiful flowers. Item # 386.
