I really can't say enough about this glamorous, tough, showy, dramatic, reliable beauty. Whenever I want a cultivar that grows fast and gives one of my gardens the color punch it needs as well as the eye catching scale of the leaf, I think of this Tibouchina. It's fairly drought-tolerant (my emphasis) and my clients and their friends rave about it.
